Kuala Lumpur is the capital city and the largest city of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is considered a major tourist city which is popular in the ASEAN region. It also will be important as the hub of modernity, amenity and civilization. One of the outstanding features of Kuala Lumpur is to combine the traditional culture toward the new culture and to develop in construction buildings, transportations and logistics.
Another remarkable location of Kuala Lumpur is the nightlife and shopping malls which is famous among tourists who enjoy shopping. The first one is Suria KLCC shopping centre is an imposing six-storey building which is located at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur city centre or known as Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle. Likened to Ginza in Tokyo, Fifth Avenue in New York and Orchard Road in Singapore. There are many restaurants; both outdoor and indoor restaurants, including famous shopping malls such as Berjaya Plaza, Berjaya Times Square and Bukit Bintang Plaza.
The second shopping mall is Pavilion Kuala Lumpur which is the newest shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. It has three major sections; a retail mall, an office tower and two residential towers. There are many retail stores from both Malaysian fashion brand and European fashion brand such as Gucci, Hermès, Hugo Boss. Furthermore, there is a SOGO Kuala Lumpur which is the biggest shopping mall in Malaysia and being the most favorite shopping mall for both Malaysia people and the visitors.
The fourth shopping mall is Lot 10 Shopping Mall is located in the Bukit Bintang area and it was first launched in 1990. The unique of Lot 10 Shopping Mall is Harrods store which was opened the first branch here in Malaysia. There are brand name retail shops such as Nicholai by Nicky Hilton and William Rast. It also has food courts, luxurious club and bar, for those who prefer night life. These is including a fitness area for exercise.
Lastly, Fahrenheit 88 Shopping Mall and previously known as the KL Plaza. After it has changed names and renovated in October 2010, it is become popular shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur again. Fahrenheit 88 consists of the area 300,000.- square feet and divide into 5 floors by highlight at Japanese and Korean Fashion Zone which targets the young and the young at heart customers. Consisting of over 250 retail stores include the flagship stores such as H&M, Uniqlo and Muji.
